Research shows that our model of community mentoring for the young makes our kids more likely to succeed in school, less likely to fight, lie, cheat or bully and better equipped to handle the pitfalls of life and its lessons.
We know first hand that mentoring works and are looking for others to join us in promoting the impact of mentoring by joining the mentoring movement.
This includes:
Offering up your business as a facility for a mentor outing - for example a fitness centre or cafe
Donating food or prizes for our BBBS mentor events
Volunteering at our annual Christmas party or other activities as they arise
Spread the word about the work we do
Volunteering at your local Big Brothers Big Sisters region
